Underwear Feature- Festive Season

Christmas dressing requires good fitting underwear, and now it’s finally acceptable to wear big pants and still look attractive… well in girls eyes it is. No more cold bottoms in scrappy bits of lace, this winter is all about velvet, beading and silks. Proper glamour that you literally have to wear everyday. A teddy is perfect for wandering about your cosy house in cold weather, and the shorts let you keep your dignity. Where the velvet and pearl beaded corset can be worn with a high waisted skirt as a top, no one would know…

All underwear is Topshop. Velvet bandeau- £32 and high waisted knickers- £15, Green silk bra- £18 and green silk knickers-£6, Floral bra- £18 and floral knickers- £6, Navy silk bralet- £20, Grey lace bra- £16, Pink silk bralet- £20, Cream and Black Teddys- £32.

Celebrity Inspiration

Rihanna has had a huge comeback with her first single from her new album ‘Loud’ going straight to number one. Her style has turned around too, she’s come into her own with feminine dresses and chunky biker boots. Her hair is a statement that not everyone can pull off, but the style is. Think floral meets tough, don’t be scared to wear flat boots with dresses as long as you balance them out with jewellery and a soft jacket. Black can be too harsh shoe wise, try a soft grey boot to keep femininity whilst nodding to the trend.Jewellery should be chunky and heavy.

Top left to right; Black floral dress- £40 Topshop, Gold Chain necklace- £8 Miss Selfridge, Bandeau Corset- £20, Topshop, Leopard Print Skirt- £50 Topshop, Jewelled Pendant- £on request Oscar De La Renta, Jacket- £80 Topshop, Blue Cameo Necklace- £7 modcloth.com, Grey Biker Boots- £32 Soyoushoes.com, Ruffled Wedges- £28 Soyoushoes.com, Rose Bird ring- £10 Topshop, Chain Bracelet- £8 Topshop, Winged Ring- £12 Topshop, Marc B Bag- £45 Topshop.  (Prices avrg from dollars listed on website)

Ok the RSS feed was rubbish and slow

So I shall be posting the polyvores myself. It’ll have to be screenshots and a list, not as neat and tidy but oh well. The first two are coming up tonight in the next hour! Spread the word and tell your friends, anyone who enjoys shopping will hopefully enjoy this.

Anonymous asked: I'm excited to read your blog! Can you start by telling us about each of the items in your most recent polyvore post? It would be great if you did this each time :) Thanks!

I sure can. Hopefully if the feed works properly it should post with a detailed list that shows where each item is from and the pricing. Sometimes it’s in dollars for topshop.com as polyvore is an American website. The first polyvore post is a screenshot hence the lack of detail, but I’ll pop a list underneath it right now!

Ok lovelies, I have set up an RSS feed to my polyvore.

My first post is Rihanna based and should appear in the next hour or so. Keep your eyes peeled!

I am about to start my new purely fashion based blog

I’ve want to showcase different kinds of fashion, I don’t just want to post a polyvore of what is in at Topshop this week. Here’s a taste of what will come;

Celebrity Fashion- A feature on a specific female celebrity who’s standing out fashion wise, plus a guide on how to get her look.

Personal Fashion- My wants and desires from the high street and a lookbook of my own outfits.

Featured Friend- A lot of my friends have proper fashion taste, whether that is working for a huge brand like Topshop in the case of Boobs. Or studying it at University and making it to the final ten of Shop Girl to Stylist like Tammy. I want to do posts about them, their personal fashion and their favourite picks.

Street Fashion- Think Evening Times online? It’s not hard to grab my camera, take a pal so I’m not a creep and pop out onto the streets of Glasgow/Stirling(haha).

In the magazines- A breakdown of what’s being hailed in the big fashion pages.

In the shops- The pick of the best from the high street.

Featured shop- Picking a shop/brand and exploring their look books for this year and the next season, plus showcasing their best pieces.

Brand News- Keeping up to date with fashion news, which designer has worked with which celebrity, who’s caused a scandal at a show etc.

Posts will begin this evening. If you have any suggestions, or want to put yourself forward for street fashion, please leave me an ask!

Fashion journalism at its easiest.
